Europe – the European idea is a great thing, but unfortunately abused by many and hence forgetting the real sense and purpose of it!
The foundation of the European Union supports the vision of a continent full of friends and partners, the avoidance of any future war amongst its‘ member states, the free flow of people and the limitation of commercial obstacles. In other words: freedom and peace for everybody and anything within its‘ borders….

Toll roads in Poland – you better get the Via-toll! Did you know, Poland performs at least 2 ways of toll roads? I didn’t and so it turned quite expensive. You better be aware.
Cruising through Poland you will be obliged to pay toll on a number of motorways. Taking a ticket and paying it off at both the beginning and the end of the payable stretch of the road. You manually grab the ticket, you pay cash at the end to a guy in his booth. So far so good….

ETRETAT is a tourist town north of Paris on the Atlantic. A cosy village previously dominated by fishing and now attracting tourists through it’s rocky and arched coast line.
Many Europeans but also day-tourist flocking in from Paris are stunned by it’s cliffs, old houses and a cute shopping mall offering nothing else than souvenirs in all possible shape and matter. I was surprised seeing so much pro-American stuff knowing the delicate relationship between the 2 countries….

Cars queuing up for reaching the compound despite being 5.00 am. It is cold, fog all over. Folk sitting in the car breathe in the sight of signposts and costumed people….
