Whilst 2016 started smoothly, it constantly picked up speed to ultimately find its own staccato finale. I had not known before but if I had, 2016 wouldn’t have taken the course it took. From Armenia to Georgia I went by minibus. A superb alternative for little money and best way to see some of the Balkan mountains. However, don’t go in April. The nature half asleep still, snow patches all over and it is all looking rather dull than lush….

You hear so much about these countries facing each other off since decades. It seems as if since the mid-60 nothing has changed, unless for the worse. People fear, the situation may never resolve, and since I was here again now I have to say, it actually won’t….
