The idea going to Cap Verde was being somewhere in the sun during winter and not being obliged flying to for 12 hours. As I had broken my fibula in China and it is only six weeks later you are allowed to fully put your body weight on the leg again, I was in doubt, if I was able to go to Nepal. But dead-on six weeks had past and it was first day of the trip, and what can I say? I went, I hiked and it all went very well!…
From Armenia to Georgia I went by minibus. A superb alternative for little money and best way to see some of the Balkan mountains. However, don’t go in April. The nature half asleep still, snow patches all over and it is all looking rather dull than lush….

To Algeria I went first time ten years ago. Back then on my transit in Paris, I met an Algerian native. I asked him about his country as I was quite worried after stories abound about civil war, religious extremism and whatever else. But today Algeria is one of my favourite countries to go to!…

I have never been to Dresden before and I actually had no idea what to expect, apart from a city destroyed by the war, run long-time under socialist rule and now rebuilt since reunification. I was positively surprised….
I was here several times and the last time is quite a few years ago, so I was quite eager to get here again and go along trodden paths….
Finally I am travelling and talking to and about my hometown, but as often the case about your hometown, there is be a long story to tell. But this blog is not about psychotherapy. In consequence and since running the blog I was waiting for my first trip to Eckernförde in order to write about this little precious place up on the Baltic shore in the north of Germany….
